Â Lucky he didn't get it elevated. Â Ventura going to bring in Reed against Jackson. Â Last time Reed was brought into this situation, he gave up a hit (runner on 2nd and 2 outs). This is putting even MORE pressure on Reed. Â Either Reed's your closer or he's not. Not fair to not let him earn it by starting the inning. We knew Thornton wasn't successful at closing last season and Reed is easily one of the best relief prospects in baseball. We're rebuilding, so why not?
