It wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to send down Santiago and get another reliever up for the DH tomorrow. I assume Stults will be added as the 26th man. Morel will get until end of road trip at the earliest, I'd bet.

I'm rooting for him and he looked great last week. His entire career though...same s*** -- his results are exactly what his swings would suggest he would have. Swings and misses, pop ups/high flies, ground balls. His swing is like a damn golf swing and we all know if you make contact at the wrong part of a golf swing the ball never goes the right way

It's still weird that double headers are only due to rainouts.

 

Sox have to be careful of falling more than 5 out so early.

With as much s*** guys like Beckham and Morel get, its amazing the free pass Alexei Ramirez gets on this board. I do realize he is a notoriously slow starter, and have noted this year's start is hardly any different from all his others, but these games do count. The guy has a .217 OBP. Its time Alexei does something differently in the offseason in an attempt to actually start hitting before the season is 20% over.
