Reed has both righties and lefties hitting .220-ish against him, but 7 BB in 14 innings is really high for him. He had 1 BB in 7 innings in the bigs last year, and at most 14 BB in 78 innings in the minors.

"Don't swing at anything on the outside half" isn't an option when pitchers are happy to throw everything to guys out there. Batters have to cover those pitches to be able to force the pitcher to go inside.

Who are you quoting ? I never said the outside half . I said he was swinging at too many pitches off the plate . He wasn't covering those pitches he wasn't touching them . They just kept pitching him outside because he couldn't hit them and couldn't lay off them.
