He's got a 3.33 ERA in June to go along with a 2.93 FIP. He's striking out over 9 per 9 again and he's keeping his walks down.

In Liriano's last 5 starts, he has faced the 24th, 25th, 27th, 11th, & 29th ranked offenses. Sox are currently 7th.

Yeah, I just looked at his gamelog, he really didn't face any good offensive teams...

 

But still, the fact that he is pitching well is a bad sign. We all know how good Liriano can be.

I was thinking about where Youk would bat as well and I think it has to be 7 or 8.

 

Beckham has really started hitting the ball well and I don't think you move him from the 2 spot where he seems comfortable and productive. I'd also rather not drop Viciedo below 7 so Youkilis really should be batting 8 in front of Alexei

Sox have struggled vs. lefties, but they also tend to feast on hard-throwers. I wouldn't be surprised if we won tonight and dropped the next two against whatever soft-tossing garbage the Twins will trot out.

See, I highly doubt jersey vendors are going to say anything about Jordan Danks. He has been up for like 3 weeks, I dont think they have his jersey in high demand at this point.
