July 2, 201213 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 1, 2012 -> 05:13 PM) Final vote is pitchers ONLY this year for the 1st time. By chance? Or because that was how they designed it this year?

July 2, 201213 yr QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 2, 2012 -> 01:13 AM) Final vote is pitchers ONLY this year for the 1st time. Not the first time fwiw. Also, Peavy is the tenth White Sox player on this thing, most of any team. That's almost one every year. We've won it 3 times.
July 2, 201213 yr QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 1, 2012 -> 07:56 PM) Not the first time fwiw. Also, Peavy is the tenth White Sox player on this thing, most of any team. That's almost one every year. We've won it 3 times. Podsednik, Pierzynski, and? Konerko?
July 2, 201213 yr QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jul 1, 2012 -> 09:24 PM) Podsednik, Pierzynski, and? Konerko? Yup. PK last year. And I honestly had forgotten that he got in via final vote. I thought it was Dye in '08 for some reason. Edited July 2, 201213 yr by Jordan4life
July 3, 201213 yr QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jul 1, 2012 -> 09:29 PM) Yup. PK last year. And I honestly had forgotten that he got in via final vote. I thought it was Dye in '08 for some reason. I don't think Konerko won the final vote last year. I think he finished second and got in on an injury somewhere. Also will never forget when Scott Podsednik beat Jeter in this thing in 2005. So awesome. Now every team does the huge campaigns though so its effect is minimal.

July 3, 201213 yr Peavy currently in 2nd behind Darvish, the numbers were not released only the standings. It would be nice if we can get him in? Any coalition with other clubs out there? Freese and Jake ?
