Ever seen the manager hand the ball off to a reliever where the shortstop normally is?

Crazy game, Baltimore blew 9-8 lead against the A's.

Trying to hold onto tie game, 1st and 3rd, one out, Brandon Moss against Jim Johnson.

Just an unbelievable effort by Sale

This. Go through that lineup with a dead arm? Gutsy.

Or at least lets hope that is just a dead arm. I am not doctor...but if I had to guess, it wold be a dead arm.

Man, I was just watching that. After the ball left the bat and I saw Alexei and De Aza running, I muttered "collision" before it happened, and then I'll be darned, a collision happened.

I really hope De Aza will be okay.

This collision reminded me of when Magglio and (I think) Valentin or Willy Harris collided. Prolly 2003 or 2004 or so.

ADA is always getting into incidents where it looks like he breaks his leg.

Jesus hell. Hate this game... hate it

Why are we not using Myers or Crain here?

Crap, we have wild Nate Jones tonight.

Willie.

And ouch.

Ozzie and Raines colliding in 1991 was brutal. Ozzie was never the same, it also led to Dale Sveum as the White Sox SS for a while.

Quick, let's get the doctors from Grey's Anatomy here.

And Thornton warming up...it gets worse.

"Matt Thornton in the bullpen just in case"

....just in case what? Nate blows this game and we feel like putting it completely out of reach?

He has a reputation of being a guy when he gets injured to look like he's on the brink of death.

Awful, awful, awful. No idea why you use him in that spot.

Jones keeps walking guys.

Ugh...this has a bad, bad vibe to it...

No, Nate Jones...just no.

Good thing we went out and got Myers...oops

That was a joke, Jones threw 4 or 5 strikes there.

Productive Nate.

Hawk is rather chippy against our own guys tonight.

Come on Nate...you had Andrus down 1-2.
