If there's one thing Cooper excels at, it's getting his pitchers to improve their control. This is just a great trade.

I agree with the Escobar statement. I heard the news on the post game show, and even before it started Frank was saying how much he was liked in the clubhouse, high energy high character guy. Sucks to lose a chemistry guy like that but man this could be just what this team needs. Crazy interdivision trade that can have great story lines for years to come. Thanks Escy.

I don't know. There are no position players currently on the 40 that can be brought up, but this was a 2-for-1 deal so there is now a spot open on the 40.

Whether or not we move a SP, and whether or not Danks comes back, this provides us a lot of versatility with the rotation, especially with a ton of question marks. Liriano is no sure thing either, but you obviously have to like Coop's track record with guys like this.
