Myers should be in right now. Come on Robin, wake up.

Myers def should have been in with all these righties.

We need Myers in there.

When will the Thornton nightmare end?

Yeah, let's have Matt face another power righty

Ha, just exactly who is Myers warming up to face? Basically Ventura managed this inning like Reddick was Bonds and their power righties were nothing special.

Matt needs to understand that he should use his fastball to set up his breaking ball. Not the other way around.

He had a clue last night with the right pitch selection. Two days in a row is too much for him.

GET.HIM.OFF.THE.MOUND.

Ugh, this game needs more everyday Jim the Anvil Neidhart.

Vintage Thornton right now.

PLEASE REMOVE MATT THORNTON FROM THIS GAME

Ventura killing us softly this inning.....

Texas leaguer falls again.

Thanks for another bad outing Matt. Much appreciated.

I FREAKING HATE MATT THORNTON.

JESUS.

If there's a rule in any Matt Thornton outing, it's that there will be a gork shot somewhere that falls in...it's inevitable.

Carter's had two little bloop hits this game. Son of a b****.

If Oakland scores again this inning that is really gonna piss me off. Are we gonna piss this game away after the good comeback?

Alexei's mistake wasn't the throw, it was going back on that ball. He misread it off the bat.

No excuse in the world for Thornton to still be facing Cespedes that inning after two hard outs and a rocket homer.

Thornton always melts down against the A's, I dunno how he pitched well last night.

Bloody hell. Carter blindly getting hits today

When's the last time he's gotten a few swing and misses on his fastball? I don't blame him for the slider to Gomes, but the league will soon start to sit on that pitch with Thornton have zero confidence in his fastball.

When Sox took the one-run lead I thought to myself, 'Can the Sox just close this thing out? Two lousy innings of relief?'

Why is it never easy, or rarely easy?

.............................

Brilliant...another Saturday loss due to Thornton and Robin's decision making?

Not only is it a few inches slower but he's lost complete confidence in it, he throws a ton of sliders now a days compared to what he usually does.

And f***.
