Nice to see Bruce Chen be-deviling another team tonight.

Tigers really are a LOT more vulnerable on the road than at home.

Cy Chen!

Unnecessary pitching change

Ok, so why the f*** is Robin doing this?

Did we really just change pitchers up 8-1 with 2outs??

Please tell me he's not bringing in Myers!

;)

Quit my job today and decided to hop a flight with my boy tomorrow to catch the game in Baltimore, followed by a visit to the National Mall, and catch the Cards-Nats in the nightcap.

Any suggestions on the best place to buy cheap tickets this late? Any other Baltimore-DC suggestions for a whirlwind day?

We are catching an early Friday flight back since we are going to see the Giants Cubs game in the afternoon. Tempted to go all out and drive to Milwaukee to see the Pirates Brewers nightcap for 4 games in 2 days.

I think we win tonight. Only because nobody thinks we can.

I need to make more predictions.

Did Youk get hurt tonight? MLB Network said he did.

BOOM I should make more threads

Royals had 2 opportunities there to push in the 2nd run from second base and couldn't get it done.

Sanchez with a great game, around 120 pitches, but still on the downside of 1-0 score.

Here's one of those classic managerial decisions for the Royals.

Pull Chen or let him finish the shut-out.

You almost have to leave him in...and he's "only" at 100 pitches.

CY Chen scoreless thru 8 1-0 KC

So what happened to Youk?

Dirks, Cabrera and Fielder in the top of the 9th.

It would be VERY tempting to put in a RH reliever against Cabrera, but Chen deserves a shot at the shutout, too.

And if he does get out Miguel, it's a good lefty/lefty match-up against Fielder.

Holland in.

And Dirks reaches.

HOLD IT TOGETHER KC

Great catch by Dyson!

Awesome catch by the Royals CF to take away a hit from Miggy.
