So who closes if not reed?

I would hope we'd do it by matchups but I would guess Myers, or maybe Thornton will get yet another chance to close.

Detroit v Cleveland is on FOX if you guys didnt already know.

I'm getting yanks - rsox How I'm not blacked out is incredible as I got blacked out last week from the royals - sox game go figure....

If you're not in the 99.5% of the country getting Yankees-Red Sox.

Why isn't this Veal here?

He's afraid Fielder will see him too much.

Sorry. Should have specified chicagoland.

That was a failed experiment. How big does the samples size need to be before that decision is proven wrong again.

Myers.

Myers.

Better make a deep playoff run to cover that $10M if you're going to do that.

Which is why I said "yet another chance." There's no way he should be our top closer.

Indians defense gives Tigers an early run. 2-0 Tigers in the 1st now

It's tough to close when you only have one pitch, and that's what Reed has shown. He can't get his changeup over, and hitters seem to recognize it, because they rarely swing at changeups that are close (from what I've seen, anyway). Reed's fastball isn't good enough to put hitters away unless he makes a perfect pitch.

LMAO at Sanchez doing the same thing Liriano did today. No hitter through 5 so far.

Tigers lose a run on some CRAZY ISH haha.....Ill take it. Was 5-0 & is now 4-0 because Avila missed 3rd base

No hitter through 6 for Anibal

Im so glad the Indians are REALLY trying today....

f***ing bums.....Cant believe they thought they had a chance at the division earlier haha. Now they are battling with Houston for the Worst record. We need to ship them to the NL.

5-2 game in Cleveland. Sanchez is out.

Thankfully I went out drinking last night and missed the last inning of the White Sox game and most of the Indians/Tigers due to falling asleep at 330-400 a.m.

Spared me some tense moments.

Much better to wake up and see the victory/loss rather than suffer another Addison Reed blown-up inning.
