September 17, 201213 yr Nate Jones is 8-0. Totally deserved it today though. HUGE stuff from the club, especially coming back from 3-0 down when it was easy to be negative.
September 17, 201213 yr QUOTE (JoshPR @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 04:22 PM) Kangaroo court for wise The win takes the edge off, but that was a STUPID decision by Dewayne. (Hesitant to use his surname after that play) Edited September 17, 201213 yr by The Critic
September 17, 201213 yr QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 17, 2012 -> 04:21 PM) Ok boys...now don't come out flat tomorrow! This is my fear. The way this division race has gone the last couple of months, Detroits probably going to at least tie us one more time.
September 17, 201213 yr Brilliant! Just brilliant!! Delighted to have been able to follow that tonight. Big result.
September 17, 201213 yr NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO you stopped my streak of 3 in a row for the Winner thread. Helluva gutsy win though

The way this division race has gone the last couple of months, Detroits probably going to at least tie us one more time. The Tigers have a nice schedule to close (6 against Minny, 7 against KC), but the Sox just have to go, say, 9-7 to close to put a ton of pressure on the Tigers. 9-7 by the Sox means the Tigers have to go a scorching 12-4 just to force a playoff. Barring a collapse, the Sox shouldn't need to do anything spectacular.

(Hesitant to use his surname after that play) I was listening on the radio and totally assumed it was hit to right field and just a helluva throw by Garcia. Then I saw the replay, wow. Can't imagine what he was even thinking, but who cares, Sox win! He had a great game at the plate otherwise.
