As noted, it was in his wheelhouse and his fastball just doesn't the life in the 2nd half to get away with it.

 

The aura of invincibility for Chris at home has gone out the window his last couple of starts. Just wearing down.

 

And he lost the advantage of the shadows hiding his slider.

 

 

In the end, Walters has been a horrible pitcher with the exception of one start in DET. We're extremely lucky the Twins won that one. Too much to expect him to go out and beat Verlander with the Cy Young on the line (perhaps).
