It shows nothing. The AL was better than the national league this year despite the fact that the Giants are likely going to win the world series. There are no dominant teams in baseball right now and when you have a short series anything is possible.

Cain should close it out tonight. But...if the Tigers can get it to Verlander for Game 5 at home, you never know. It's pretty incredible that a 3-0 lead in the World Series has never got to a 6th game.

I think the talent is still better in the AL but when it comes to a team game, it appears the NL is better.

It must be nice for a team to have strong enough pitching. Right now he's a very expensive reliever.
