I'm pretty confident it was because the coaching change, Banks didn't use a fullback in his offense, IIRC. Though that's a great reason for a waiver

Take Auburn in a heart beat. I'll actually take Auburn to win. Granted, FSU has blown every one out but they've beat Clemson and nobody else.

Baylor got blown out in their 1 loss and Stanford like you said to lost to Utah. Ideally it'd be 8 teams but I wouldn't feel bad for the programs that were left out if we had a 4 game playoff this year.

This is just a group of people inviting teams into a tournament. And actually the NCAAs is a tournament, not a playoff.

well the other options arent that great for the Orange.

 

Missouri cant since there are already 2 SEC teams in the BCS. Same for OK State.

 

So it really comes down to Clemson,Oregon, Arizona St. and Clemson is most likely to bring the most people to Miami.
