I think CBS moved him to Atlanta to get his feet wet, and when Boers retires, Goff slides in. Goff and Bernstein are actually really good together, Goff is not afraid to call out Bernstein

Carmen & Jurko mentioned it. Mac had coffee with Adam Delavit? - the PD. Carmen even sang "reunited" while they were talking about it. I'm guessing they'd eventually move him into Carmen's seat, though. Maybe waddle goes to more national stuff with the network and Carmen moves back to shows with Silvy?

I still listen to B&B sometimes, but I've dropped off most sports radio. I just plug in Google Play Music everywhere I am.

Did you guys ever get to listen to Jason Goff much when he was at The Score? He's been in Atlanta for over a year now. I don't always like what he has to say, but he's my favorite local guy for sure. His show is always entertaining.

I loved JGoff. He was a rising star. but, there wasnt really any openings on the Score for a full-time on-air gig. I was sad he left

Seriously, Mac can go wherever he wants and I dont care. The guy has taken off the better part of the past year for depression, addiction, and various vacations that always seem to be the same endgame: fishing in Canada.

 

He wants a part time gig and a full time paycheck. I feel bad for Spiegel because Mac has more or less hung him out to dry

Holmes and Spiegel is SOLID. I like Mac, but he has so many issues you cant rely on him.

I don't think Bernstein is all that wrong . He is just blasting the wrong guy. The two things I think are common knowledge, some seem to ignore. First, if the Bulls are "rebuilding" it isn't going to be a 3 or 4 year process. They will be trying to win next season. Second, Derrick Rose isn't necessarily the bad guy here. Sure he can be questioned, but IMO, he is just a rather naive person who thinks his brother has all the brains, and he is letting him run the show. Any controversy is all Reggie Rose. He has had a bad reputation for years. This is a dumb athlete listening to his even dumber older brother. Nothing more, nothing less. Blast Derrick for letting Reggie run the show, that is totally fair.

You can't play the "i'm the greatest and all I want to do is win, no matter the cost" card and then ignore doctors who say you can play because you're worried about your legacy, or b**** about the roster when you're not willing to make a call to help build one.

Rose keeps getting hurt, unfortunately...but he already ruined his image with a ton of fans because of what he's done outside of that.

I think in the case of the ACL you can, to an extent. While the knee was medically sound, most athletes will tell you that it doesn't "feel normal" for 18 months. Most believe this is due to nerve healing and motor control issues.

As soon as Rose said he wasn't returning until it felt normal, everyone knew it wasn't going to be in the normal 9-12 month time frame. So the question was do you send him back before he feels he is ready. Usually, that is asking for trouble. He was practicing all out and didn't feel ready.

It is free attention, which is the #1 reason he states most of the things that come out of his mouth. He is a highly paid troll.
