Flowers on the HR pitch "it was a change, but it wasn't where he wanted it."

WOOOOO!

Great to see Flowers win the game for the team on offense.

So great to see a 1-0 victory against a team that killed the Sox last year. Sale looks damn good.

So many heroes in a 1-0 game.

Sale

Flowers

Good defense from guys like Kepp, Beckham.

Thornton, Reed.

Nice game from Rios, Lexi. I'll even give Lexi credit for getting the final out on that slow roller.

Bottom line is it's nice to win a pitcher's duel. Our guy gets the W; Shields gets the loss; coulda gone either way, but SOX WIN!

I'm Saling away

Set an open course for the Virgin Sea

'Cause I've got to be free

Free to face the life that's ahead of me

On board, I'm the captain

So climb aboard

We'll search for tomorrow on every shore

And I'll try, oh Lord, I'll try to carry on

Oh yeah the Twins are terrible... Forgot about that.

Probably going 162-0.

PTC was Flowers.

Wednesday...Paulie.

It has been said.

Bill Melton sticking with calling him Chris Sales.

Seriously, the best they can do is Melton and Frank?

Unbelievable.

Now comes the horrible Tuesday off-day. So sweet last year not to have that.

I understand why, but it's the WORST.

Personally, I love it. Nothing like being undefeated for another 40 hours or so. If you lose your first game, then I agree it's horrible.

Apparently being a former White Sox player trumps Ability to Speak in Public every time.

It's embarrassing for this organization.

It so is the worst.

How about the Indians and Blue Jays though. They don't play until tomorrow night. Everyone in baseball will have played before them.

But yeah, the day off tomorrow sucks.

Good point. When you win, it's bad, but bearable. If you lose, sitting on that loss for 40 hours is real bad.

You could forgive Melton's mispronunciation of names if he had any actual insights to the modern game of baseball, but he doesn't. He literally a rambling old man who used to play for the Sox... That's it.

Not only the game winning HR but guy handles a shut out. Take that ( at least for one game ) !

Green Line > Red Line

I can't believe I've been missing out on this all these years.

We ain't scared of no Royals! :gosox3:

Anything's better than 6-12.

9-9 would seem acceptable after last year's debacle/s.
