Freese is back in a week and then he slides over.

I remember when Allen Craig played 2B for a few games. He was a great fantasy player because of his 2B eligibility last year.

At that point I dont know why he didnt jump over and catch it in the bullpen. He had time.

Don't know if you're serious or not but that would still be a HR.

That scared me for a sec. That ball continued to carry.

That would still be points for the White Sox.

Hawk's worst home run call by far haha..

I recall him doing that at least once or twice before. "He caught the ball!! Noo!! It's a home run!!"

Yeah, you can't stand out of play and make a catch.

Oh man, Jake almost got hurt on that play.

That's our gold glove pitcher!

That last play proves what a bulldog Peavy is. Man, he cares. Glad he re-signed with the Sox.

However, he could have caught it and fallen in to the bullpen and it still would have been an out, which I don't agree with.

Jake got a nice wound on the left arm from that play.

4-1 through 4.5.

I think he was just more pissed that he embarrassed himself that he faceplanted and looked like a big dumb stupid.

Youve already combed thru the 8 decades of calls?

That almost happened, lol.

Really? Because catching a ball in foul territory is an out... even in the stands.

Edit: ah. Falling, diving is ok but standing isnt? Thats weird. What if he stood on top of the fence and jumped over while catching it? Lol

bulldogs were made to faceplant. the face's flatness is their evolutionary trait

Have you seen anyone jump into the stands, stand up in the stands, and make a catch? I haven't.

Suddenly you're forgiven

And now you go and COMPLETELY redeem yourself!

We will get to see how the pen looks today.

Only if your feet are in play or were in play when they were last on the ground. If you jumped into the stands and actually had your feet on the ground before you caught the ball it would not be an out.

Jake's going out there for the 6th.

His voice cracked a bit on Flowers's HR call as well.

What a difference a game makes.. Hardly any one at this game.

Didnt Endy Chavez or someone catch a hr while one foot was on the top of the wall or something?

Also I edited my last post

I think if your feet are actually ON the fence that's OK, but I'm not 100% certain on that. If your feet have been grounded on the other side of the fence then that's definitely not OK, though I can't remember ever seeing that happen in a major league game.
