Oof, I bet Ekey's girlfriend is a little worried.

That looked like it hurt.

Bertrand needs to stop driving. He's just not going to get a call today.

Well, these teams may meet again in the Final Four.....of the NIT.

Go Team Gage!

Go Team Gage!

Huge game. *crossing my fingers*.

Denzel Valentine is awful. Should go to bench when Payne and Dawson are back.

Ugh...

Iowa having the same problem as last year, closing out games.

This would be the fourth "heartbreak" loss if they don't close it out, along with Villanova, Iowa State and at Wisconsin. The only team that beat them soundly was Michigan in Ann Arbor.

We'll see what wins out, Iowa's depth/home court advantage/injuries to key MSU player or MSU's desperation to stay in the B10 title hunt.

Damn, 38-14 free throw advantage for Iowa.

Typical Illini fan always complaining about the refs :D

If you can't beat MSU on your home floor with two of their top players out and superior depth in overtime, then you're not a legit B10 title contender.

Now the big question will be to see how Iowa responds at Illinois and at home against OSU the next couple of games.

Iowa should feel awful with the way they shot from the line with such a huge advantage.

That's about the furthest thing from a big question.

For an Iowa fan whose BB team has gone 8 seasons without an NCAA appearance, nothing is guaranteed this year until they get to 10 Big 10 conference wins.

Missed free throws have killed Iowa in their losses. Except for Michigan, the other losses easily could be wins.

Free throw shooting was supposed to be a strength, but a couple of guys have really gagged at the line down the stretch.

They should have 1 loss. They've choked away every game but the Michigan one. Michigan flat beat them. Brutal. They have to learn from these losses.

Meant to say other then the Michigan game, they should be undefeated. E.g., they should have only had 1 loss. Should have / would have / could have doesn't mean jack s***.

Trying to decide how much to invest emotionally into this mediocre Missouri team.

That works both ways though. Xavier was in control against Iowa with less than 10 minutes left and then Semaj Christon started having cramping issues and missed the rest of the game.

Please Iowa State, beat Kansas tonight and make me happy.

Thanks,

Heads

This team is so snakebit. Refs literally give penn state 7 points to tie. This shouldn't happen at home.

I can't wait to forget this season. Too bad it's crafts send off year.

Ouch buckeyes

This team flat out sucks. Time to reboot. I've never seen a Matta led team just fold a season like this.

The only positive is the crazy amount of talent coming in. These two classes were good but without the one and done type of guys they just don't have it.
