Thomas-less ballot:

https://twitter.com/RRepoz/status/419252914310217728

Turned in a ballot with 9 names. No room for Frank.

Old guy, by the way. Retired a few years ago.

As far as I can tell, Frank is at 101/112- 90.2%

Vote for Jack Morris but not Thomas....alllllrighttty then

This Garry Brown guy voted for Morris, Raines, Bagwell, Biggio, and Edgar Martinez last year.

So he voted for Biggio on his first ballot, but not Frank Thomas.

Hoping someone can explain to me how you vote for Player B over Player A. Thanks.

This last part makes very little sense, btw.

Alright, who will be the jerk to vote against Greg Maddux?

Frank 103/114 -- 20% of the ballots

100 - Maddux

97.4 - Glavine

90.4 - F. Thomas

81.6 - Biggio

72.8 - Piazza

65.8 - Bagwell

The Tribune writer's picks are in:

Voting for 6, 7, or 8...I just don't get it. Some truly awful ballots.

https://twitter.com/RRepoz

I wouldn't be surprised if Fred Mitchell voted for Kent as a favor to Mark Gonzales, who is a Bay-area backer.

It's crazy that people with such terrible ballots can vote.

Should be able to revoke ballots due to sheer stupidity.

The Tribune writers took the death blow to Piazza. I'm still saying Biggio is going under 75%.

I also think Sosa, Palmeiro, and maybe McGwire go under 5%, which would be great.

The votes on the PED group is interesting. You can almost see the thought process. McGwire, Sosa and Palmeiro were considered HOF only because of the PEDs. While Bonds and Clemens were HOF caliber prior to the PED use but because of the use many won't vote for them.

C'mon Big Frank, you da man, mang!

You're saying 123, huskers is saying 188.

Piazza not going in is somewhat criminal imo

I meant to say 118, that was a typo.

Player A is black. Boom, roasted.

BTW, Frank is down to needing 312 of the "remaining" 442 ballots. His percentage needed is down to 70.5% of remaining ballots.

Not if the other steroid guys are getting denied too

Except that he's guilty by association, and I have yet to see any valid association of Piazza with steroid users.

Blame Bud for that. From that era, if he looked like a steroid user and hit like a steroid user, then I would say he was a steroid user. Don't see why he should get the benefit of the doubt.

Then I would love to hear your reasoning behind keeping Thome and Griffey out of the Hall of Fame.
