January 22, 201412 yr To get back on Tanaka track... LOL... I have some real concerns with signing any player to the amount on money this guy got and others like Pujols and A-Rod and some others. That's a ton of bank notes for a long period of time for someone you just don't know can perform at the big league level let along stay healthy. He was a phenom in Japan for sure but even as good a Darvish is - just to compare - he can be beaten even if it's 1-0 or 2-1.
January 22, 201412 yr Just wanted to chime in and say I was dead wrong on Tanaka signing with the Yanks. Didn't think it would happen but it did. Given the money it took to grab him I'm glad the Sox didn't get him. At least now the madness of this thread will die.

Don't know how true that is.
