Nice effort but really really dumb plays at times. Almost looked not ready to play.

Catchable ball, but it was also thrown behind him. Simien's scattershot accuracy + several drops= bad offense.

Ohio state "escapes" but Bama had "quantity win." Love u ESPN.

Winston didn't look good tonight. USC and their new offense was very impressive. I know it's very early, but there doesn't seem to be a team in the country that is leaps and bounds better than everyone else.

Wisconsin can't do anything in the passing game

what a collapse

Hayden Fry had the visitor locker room at Kinnick Stadium painted pink in 1979. It has remained pink ever since. Tomorrow an Iowa professor will be organizing a protest saying it is sexist and homophobic.

I hate the word homophobic. Hate it so much.

Yikes. Fell asleep thinking they were in control.

Dammit. Between West Virginia, Clemson, and Wisconsin, I was hoping that at least one of them would take down an SEC team.

Yep. Couldn't they just run Gordon until the clock ran out.

Georgia was impressive to me.

No, let's give him 3 carries or whatever in the 2nd half.

This is just me, but after last night's struggle, I think they should try something different at QB. Maybe grab a safety or something and let him start. Mix it up a bit.

They have a throwing QB.

Of course once they lost 2 key defenders to injury LSU started to move the ball.

It can't be overstated how much Lane Kiffin brought that team down.

Georgie looked great. Their defense played with a lot of energy and had a good amount of talent.

That run offense though......

Illini favored by 6 over WKY? I saw both their games and don't understand that at all. Talk about tempting . . .

I read somewhere that it opened at Illinois favored by 1.5 then quickly went up to 7. No idea.

i think Fitzgerald is going to have to step back and realize that the golden boy luster CAN wear off, and stop having some of the bizarre press conferences he has had the past couple years.

I was a fan of his, but he is slowly becoming unlikeable.

He has gone from enthusiastic and excited to passive aggressive and moody. Maybe that contract is weighing on him

I think that he is also realizing how important recruiting blue-chip talent is in football. He had his early successes with his "system" guys or finding diamonds in the rough. Sure you can have good seasons doing that from time to time, but it is hard winning year after year with that method. Get a few injuries or a good player wants to play "closer to home" and suddenly that system doesn't run as smoothly.
