Then give 'em Beckham and a prospect. They are in last place.

So your response to being told they wouldn't accept horse manure for McCarthy is to offer them cow instead?

If I was Rick Hahn and I was making a move on a starting pitcher... I'd be looking west towards San Diego.

The Padres have a guy in their system that is gonna be lights out. His name is Heywood Jablome.

Padres match up well with the Sox as trade partners too.

I think we should target his brother in this year's draft out of Morehead State University Sherwood Jablome, has all the tools to be a real stud!

Daniel Haigood, haha?

Isn't he related to Corwin Malone?

What about Sidd Finch from the Mets' system? I've heard he is better than Wilson, Pulsipher and Isringhausen.

Don't know where to put this useless trivia, since we don't have a catch all thread, but.... I was switching channels during commercial breaks and flipped over to the Rockies/Ranger game and who shows up for Texas but Aaron Poredo. Struck out Cargo.

Nick "98 MPH Heat" Masset was also pitching in that game, FWIW.
