Odd run, but gotta love it

Hawk: that one squeaks by

Stone: (matter-of-factly) I heard it squeaking as it went by

No, I've never watched him play. This is my first White Sox game and there is an unfortunately large spider on my screen which is blocking right field.

So you think you can make definitive judgements about outfielders based on what you see on TV? By that logic, you would have thought Jim Edmonds and Aaron Rowand were HOF calibre defenders.

tough luck Gordo

I wish I could email the booth. Don't blame the college coaches, Hawk, blame the umps. There's a RULE on how long it takes to deliver a pitch. Enforce it.

What's the rule again? How many seconds?

Worst thing that happened this year for the long-term chances of the Sox was the dumbass Rangers trading Kinsler for Fielder

Beckham should be 4-for-4. Didn't he have a four-hit game earlier? I think I recall one.

Ian Kinsler.. boy was I wrong about him when he was being overshadowed by Brian Anderson. Good player he turned out to be.

Who is opposed to Nieto getting more starts?

Believe it or not I think it's 12 seconds.

Do you honestly think it's impossible to evaluate how good a defender a player is without seeing regular games in person?

Nobody opposed

Do not give the run right back.

Absolutely, especially for outfielders. You just don't get a good enough perspective. You don't see plays develop. You don't see how players position themselves. You don't see their jumps. You see about 25% of the play on TV.

Clean inning Petricka get it done

Damn, this would be a good win. I do not want to see the Sox blow this one.

Sox 6-4 bottom 7

Edited by Soxfest

6 outs left.. Lets get some more insurance runs

Petricka is so underrated. Webb too. Putnam too. Basically our whole bullpen minus Belisario and Downs is good. I'm probably forgetting someone- oh yeah, except Guerra too. And Carroll.

Tack on a couple more runs. We need em.

Sox 5-4 thru 7

Did they take away a run?
