White Sox @ Twins

Featured Replies

Sox are definitely better fastball hitters than breaking ball hitters. Pino, Nolasco and Correia all threw a ton of breaking pitches, but Cain and Hughes were primarily fastballs.

Gardenhire: "That ball was right down the f***in' middle!"

Sox are finally battering a horrible pitcher. Good to see.

I thought arguing balls and strikes was automatic ejection.

Ummm...Hughes has been far from terrible this season. He would look great in the 3rd-4th-5th spot in our rotation about right now. Now Nolasco and Correia, that's different.

Glad to see us actually scoring today.. What happened to Danks today though?

That's why he was thrown out. He was tossed before he even came out of the dugout.

Clearly outside.

He was ejected very quickly.

I've always despised him.

He hasn't been able to find a consistent release point. Whereas before he was keeping everything down, today everything is up.

That doesn't make him terrible

Did not know he got ejected. Is he pulling a Ned Yost? Getting ejected in final game of the series trying to inspire his team to wake up and sweep?

I think so, considering the curveball he was complaining about was a good six inches outside. I think he was trying to help out his pitcher who was clearly struggling.

Arcia on an 0 for 29 streak...Flowers 2 for 35.

Real nice inning for Danks after the Sox score 5.

No runs nice to see.

Hughes is fine, but the ump hasn't given anything off of the corners. Lots of nights you get that, but apparently not today. So far, he has been consistent.

Because he pitched for the Yankees? There were many guys to hate on New York in years past, like Swisher and A-Rod and O'Neill, for example, but he's never been in the Top 10.

The dreaded "vacation umpire." That would get Hawk going if the results were the other way, as he clearly has his umpire favorites and then a few he absolutely despises almost as much as Ozzie used to.
