As bad as some say Beckham has been, there are only 2 players taken after him in the first 112 picks of that draft with a higher career WAR, Lawrie and Kimbrel, and only one picked before him, Posey.

And if you were Scott Boras selling that information (as his agent), it's still not going to get us a premium pitching prospect back in trade.

DeAza, fwiw, 20 for his last 50. Nevertheless, he's continuing the trend of Alejandro being Alejandro. Don't see Hahn getting bowled over with any trade offers because of his lackluster numbers overall.

Can't quite get that knockout punch in. With Quintana out there, you sort of expensive a crooked number following some defensive lapses, or a bullpen breakdown, or some combination of both.

De Aza very quietly splitting .375/.426/.583 (1.009 OPS for those who don't wanna do the math) in June.

Who was taken at 113?

What is Beckham's average with RISP? Seems like he always gets out when he has a chance to drive people in

Nothing more irritating then seeing a pitcher go out and walk the first guy up, after the offense gets another run.

Sssh

Quintana has never met an inning he didn't want to labor through. The only way he'll ever see a complete game, is if he throws 150 pitches.

Well Max Scherzers CG against us was his first, so there's hope for Q lol. Stars will align one night.

Too bad he loudly batted .185/.255/.359 in March/April and .161/.237/.195 in May

Sssh

And an OPS of 639 on the season. Which is still 119 points behind that noted slugger Gordon Beckham.

Yet in another thread, you try to make Davidson's .649 OPS in AAA seem not so bad.

Sacks packed, no outs. Gotta score a few here.

Blow this f***ing game open
