It would really add about 22 points per 650 at-bats. And that's true, 2-6 of them would likely be hits.

He better take pitches. With men on 2nd and 3rd with no outs the pitcher is extra careful because a walk sets up the double play so would be foolish for Abreu to be swing happy in that situation.
