That's just bad luck for Sale. AT LEAST give him a win.

I came here to make sure that Soxtalk, who melts down over Sale pitch counts, was fired up about him getting pulled with 107 pitches

Petricka is striking out 6 and a half per 9 innings and walking over 4 and a half, not gonna keep that low an ERA with that K:BB ratio for too long

Wow

Lol this bullpen. 4-3, 2nd and 3rd.

Freaking brutal by Ventura.

Sale was not struggling tonight. He was cruising.

I was fine with him being taking out but Jake just didn't have it tonight...

REMOVE THIS ASSCLOWN FROM THE game

Bad bullpen performance is the bane of any manager

speechless.

one out from the kill shot in this series.

He was cruising with their two best guys coming up. It made no sense

Made very little sense to pull him there with Ortiz lurking

He had 107 pitches. If he got to Ortiz there's a good chance he's breaking 120, you really want to do that in a 4-0(at the time) game when you have a reliever that's been dominant ready to go?

Jake just didn't have it tonight. He was due for a bad outing sometime, it happens to everyone. Robin did leave him in a bit long, though.

McEwing costs us a run. It won't come back to bite us though....

Really we shall see.

Love this f***ing bullpen.

You at least let him give up a run...the guy on second was there because of a ground ball, then he retires the next two guys...he's just clueless.

Petricka looked like a guy who saw he was pitching to World Series heroes -- and froze.

The sheer number of 2 out runs this bullpen has surrendered this season, is mind boggling.

Kinda like when he was cruising against the Angels and then Robin decided to leave him in with ~105 pitches and we destroyed him
