He was cruising with their two best guys coming up. It made no sense

Made very little sense to pull him there with Ortiz lurking

He had 107 pitches. If he got to Ortiz there's a good chance he's breaking 120, you really want to do that in a 4-0(at the time) game when you have a reliever that's been dominant ready to go?

Jake just didn't have it tonight. He was due for a bad outing sometime, it happens to everyone. Robin did leave him in a bit long, though.

McEwing costs us a run. It won't come back to bite us though....
