Alexei Ramirez in lineup, hitting 2nd. Said before All-Star Game he was worried about how his back would respond. Felt great. #WhiteSox

Yep. Also means they won't be trying to enhance Beckham's value anymore. They know they're getting peanuts.

So we decide to keep Sanchez on the roster only to put him on the bench.... Love it... not..

Lol. So that's the bottom line, there's nothing more to it? KW & RH just want him to sit on the bench around trade time?

You're basically saying there was a conversation that went something like this:

RH: Let's call up red-hot Sanchez and park him on the bench for the rest of the year.

KW: Excellent idea. Let's go watch the 2005 videos again.

Once a player gets sent down, doesn't the team have to wait a certain amount of days before calling them back up? If so maybe that makes sense as to why they are keeping him up here in case Ramirez can't go 100%. They'd only have Garcia on the bench.

Yes, but Alexei is fine and Semien could be called up if something happened. Plus the Sox only have 6 in the pen, which isn't the usual.

So what I'm saying is...trade Beckham.

Mirotic and Pau throwing out the first pitch(es).

Striking out a guy who doesn't strike out is a good way to start

Hawk just called George Springer a future Hall of Famer...

I hope they bring up Aiken during the telecast, just because I'm morbidly curious as to Hawk's take.

Leadoff triple. He sure hits quite a few of those.

Isn't that blocking the plate before he had the ball?

Eaton's front leg didn't hit the plate, as far as I can tell.

AFTER REPLAY MAYBE NOT SAFE FRONT FOOT WASN'T DOWN.

Questionable decision to send him there with Abreu up next.

Kind of silly going any way with only 1 out a short fly ball and Abreu on deck.

We have a pretty stellar record on these bang bang calls.

Replay review is bulls***. He was clearly safe.
