They went to commercial but that play might be reviewed. Eaton made it close.

Maybe he figured the play wasn't high-leverage enough. I don't know, it's hard to defend him most of the time.

Danks running into some trouble here.

He just hung that ball right over the plate. 80 MPH meatball

.137 hitter against LHP since June and he gets a hit.

Isn't there people who review the plays that tell Robin whether or not to challenge plays.

Yes but it's up to Robin to use that info at his discretion. Might need it later. It's a wise choice up 3-0 . Wouldn't have given us a run or taken a run away from the Twins.

Wow that was a bomb

Cuban home runs!

Cuban home runs!

That was a monster shot. Correia is meat tonight.

Lexibomb !

Followed by Abreu base hit.

He's a super freak, super freak

Sox 4-1 Correia is dog meat tonight.

Cuba 6 for 6 tonight.

What I like the most about that Abreu homer is the pitch selection. That pitch shouldn't have been hit out of the park. It was a slider that was just barely misplaced. An inch or two down and/or away, and he may have struck Jose out. Abreu's one and only vulnerability at this point is the slider low and away from righties. If he can make them pay in a big way even on the slightest misfire of that pitch, they won't even bother throwing it if they have a second thought about their ability to place it perfectly

Some near-TOOTBLANs instead result in a two-out threat.

You know you're meat when two people independently describe you as meat.

Half priced papa johns in the 3rd!

Sox 5-1 this may be a blowout tonight.

Flowers had a chance to deliver a knockout blow.

How come they don't serve good burgers at ballparks?

3-for-20 career with the bases loaded now. Frustrating.

Showcase that arm JD.

Sox 6-1 it is the Sox night that is for sure.
