In an organization with decent 2nd base prospects, it's insane Beckham continues to get at bats.

Beckham and De Aza swinging at ball 4

Other than Eaton, Abreu and Dunn, no one on our team likes to walk.

Seriously

Doesn't get much worse than that. Not even close to seeing a strike, and he still strikes out.

I dont understand what we're trying to do here. What is left for them to see? Its just wasting time at this point.

Flowers actually looks dangerous at the plate these days. A catcher got the two hardest parts of the cycle out of the way.

I really is. The only thing I can possibly think of by way of an explanation is a common courtesy to Beckham plus service time games with Semian on a team that isn't a decent 2B away from the playoffs anyways.

But yea, it makes no sense. His OBP is .269 FFS.

Thank you, Glasses!!!!

Wow, he looks like a totally different hitter. Nice going Flowers!

Well I'm impressed

Extend that man!

Flowers has to be setting some records for streakiness this season.

Tumbleweeds a double away from the cycle.

Wow Tyler wow Sorcerer's Specs . Double needed for the cycle. Piece of cake.

We thought that the first month of the season too

Anyone know what Flowers' K rate is since wearing the glasses?

Yeah that's really the problem with all of this. He can go right back to striking out a ton.

Whats new, Adam Eaton on base

Adam Eaton is a stud

He's back to being a Flower . No more Tumbleweeds or Weeds.

Woo!

BTW the shirt is pretty.

But doesn't this streak look a bit different than the early season one ? A lot more xtra base hits in this one.

The difference is he's actually been much more than just a singles hitter. Dude had 10 XBHs before he put on the glasses...He's since had 11 in 18 games. He's really a different hitter right now.
