Yep, his performance since signing the extension has been horrendous.

I am afraid he is damaged goods and untradeable at this point.

Yea welcome to the bigs. Wilkins hardly walks at all, he's going to have to hit like 270-280 to have any value. Not gonna happen IMO.

Terrible luck for the White Sox on that one. Can't fault them to signing a really good, young pitcher who had no history of injuries to a market/below market deal.

Make him the BP pitcher, that should give the SOx a lot of confidence heading into the games.

 

See Barry Zito or Tim Lincecum, although I have ZERO confidence Danks will throw a no-hitter at any point the rest of his career.

John Danls appears to be the Adam Dunn of pitching (I profiled awhile ago about how Dunn hits good pitching).....Looking at his game logs he does well against good teams but is garbage against awful teams like the Twins, Astros, and Rangers.

 

To elaborate, in 43.1 innings against sub .500 teams he has an 11.01 era

 

In 121.2 innings against teams above .500 he has an era of 2.88.

 

Baseball is such a fun game.

I would not cry if Viciedo is traded this off season but what I think is the Sox are hoping Abreu can be a positive influence on Tank and he finally develops into a consistent hitter and contributes to a winning season

Not really sure why Lindstrom's getting innings right now. Still shocked they didn't unload him for a bag of baseballs on 8/31. Danks ERA up to 5.12. It would be great if they can unload him this offseason and pay maybe half his remaining salary.

Not dumping Belisario or Lindstrom makes no sense at all.

 

Guerra should always be pitching in the 8th to show he if he can still get it done (or not).

Only ahead of Buchholz, Colby Lewis, and....you guessed it, Edwin Jackson.
