not a troll. thanks, douglas

It happened again. Just ask a mod how to delete the "thanks, douglas". That way people won't want to commit suicide on here. You understand. Happy new year!

What a baseball team should expect of it's manager: 1. A good sense of humor. 2. Gets drunk. 3. Goes off on asshole radio guy. Check, check and check!! Ozzie wins over Robin or for that matter anyone else. thanks, douglas

POTY!

I agree that Ozzie was more entertaining, and that the jury is still out on Robin.

And if you want entertainment, I hope you are looking forward to AJP, White Sox Manager, within the next 10 years.

Cause the Oz ain't getting back here; after he f'ed up the Marlins gig, I honestly see no other management group that would think "Yea, that's our guy!" Maybe McCourt era Dodgers but certainly not the current era Dodgers.

Edit: I for one am glad you're here and could find entertainment in this for another decade. :D

yeah he is making tons of money by not doing squat. i really looked at that

article and thought, "what a pathetic attempted to tell / beg for a job"

I'd take AJ in a heartbeat over RV too. Lots of memorable moments that exemplified

his baseball acumen. He was a good talker too when he had a microphone in his face.

How about the time what's-his-name coldcocked him? thanks, douglas

come to think of it, Robin got coldcocked once too, but he asked for it.

thanks, douglas

I'm pretty sure AJ is always asking to be coldcocked. Only every minute of every game he's ever played.

I like him, too. But players need to not completely hate their managers if you want them to be effective.

Thanks, Reddy.

Let's play find a spot for Ozzie! Who will find Ozzie the most entertaining?

We have to find a team in a state that is

  1. Against gay equality
  2. Loves Castro and communism
  3. Laughs at domestic abuse
  4. Enjoys a good drunk

So my conclusion after reading this page is that Michael Barrett should be named manager

Hitting coach. both with the bat, and with the fist

George Wendt obviously needs to be manager
