Did Hawk say "there's your run Jeff?" Statistics have shown that whenever Hawk says that, the Sox pitcher allows 5.643 runs per game.

 

Sarcasm, but whenever he's said that in the past, the Sox pitching has struggled.

Even with Avi's K i like that he is taking some close pitches, he still is going to have some growing pains as witnessed by that strike out but i like the way he has looked at the plate so far this year.

Just that they had to play more as a group etc. He is trying to be a leader.

Late to the party here, but the list of pitchers Abreu has taken deep is truly impressive. A lot of past and current greats on his trophy shelf.
