May 10, 201510 yr You will never hit a walk off in the 9th knowing Hawk Harrelson is calling the game winner... why even live?
May 10, 201510 yr QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 10, 2015 -> 02:27 PM) We need a stir emoticon. It's the new Sox theme based on Eaton's commenting a few times that he is supposed to be the straw that stirs the drink ( based on the Reggie Jackson comment that he is the straw that stirs the drink when he was with the Yankees). They got t-shirts made to poke fun at Eaton but now it's officially the new fun thing. So now you have seen multiple guys doing it. Bonifacio a few times and Beckham after the hit to win the game.

May 10, 201510 yr QUOTE (flavum @ May 10, 2015 -> 02:42 PM) Jersey shredding needs to stop. That's where I draw the line on fun. There's no women involved in this so why limit the fun ? The Sox desperately need fun.

May 10, 201510 yr 2 out of 3 without any of your top 3 pitching is nice. It is the first time I have seen 102 on the USCF gun since that guy with Detroit was healthy. Nice job by Johnny Danks. Edited May 10, 201510 yr by Dick Allen

May 10, 201510 yr I was thinking about it, with Noesi maybe injured, I feel better about this rotation: Sale Smja Q Rodon/Carrol Danks/Carrol. Danks will just have game where everyone can see, the ball just isn't staying down. It's a 7 spot waiting to happen. Give it 2 innings and if he can't keep it down bring in Carrol. I say Rodon / Carrol just because who knows how economical Rodon can be. Danks has shown he is capable of some randomly brilliant games, but its quite obvious when he doesn't have it. Carrol is by no means a great pitcher, but he has shown ability to just try and get as many groundballs as possible and I'll take it.
May 11, 201510 yr Jon Heyman @JonHeymanCBS 3h3 hours ago Miami, FL chisox beat chapman with 3 straight hits. odds of that happening, based on .147 career BAA, is 3 out of a thosand
May 11, 201510 yr QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 10, 2015 -> 04:47 PM) lol I'm old too but just go with it. Fisk is no longer part of the equation. But stupidity is. Now little leakers will be doing it across the country. I'm with Flavum here.
May 11, 201510 yr QUOTE (oldsox @ May 11, 2015 -> 07:21 AM) But stupidity is. Now little leakers will be doing it across the country. I'm with Flavum here. If they don't do anything like this they are dead, have no pulse, supposedly just like their manager. If they get excited and have some sort of inside joke, it is bad because little leaguers might copy them. GMAB. It's a game. They won it in the 9th and are having fun. That is what games are supposed to be-fun.

I'm with Flavum here. and the parents and coaches will be putting a stop to that. if this is their inside humor and a very appalling beginning, they need something to help them get over it. so my point is so what.
May 11, 201510 yr Wasn't able to catch the game yesterday, but very happy to see another solid effort from Danks. Nothing wrong with him as a #5 in the rotation.

I think just about every team has a guy like that, the key for the White Sox is to not have two guys like that.
