Knowing this team I'd be surprised if he doesn't.

That 9-pitch AB may have ruined it though.

Any chance Sale comes out for the 8th?

His last four starts he had pitch counts of 109-110-109-113. He's at 108 right now so I doubt it.

108 pitches so far. They usually let him go when he's at that level. And usually he's still pretty good afterwards.

Sale last 4 games: 31 2/3 IP 16 H 4 BB 6 ER 40 Ks. Edited to include 2 batters faced in 8th.

LaRoche's SLG still anemic but at least he's getting his ass on base.

please don't screw this up bullpen

 base running so bad.

Chris Sale returns to start 8th. He's at 108 pitches & #Orioles' 8-9-1 are due up. Only 1 truly stressful inning for Sale so far. #WhiteSox

More baserunning idiocy.

Sale back out.

Jake Petricka and Zach Duke are both warming up for the #WhiteSox, who lead 2-0, B8.

Gordon should play third, Bonifacio second and LaRoche first.

Alexi is the epitome of what has gone wrong with this team since his arrival. Flairs of greatness but more showings of stupidity.

Sad that Robertson is not available.

Alexei Ramirez has been one of the best shortstops in baseball since his acquisition.

Dear lord is he dealing.

Sale ... Wow.

Chris Sale is a man!

Sale's gonna set the franchise strikeout mark, isn't he?

O's fans give a round of applause to Chris Sale as he leaves. Though that could be applause of happiness.

Great effort by Sale on this DH day. Baltimore fans gave him a standing O!

Just dominated a pretty good lineup
