Sox are playing pretty good baseball again despite the hitting woes. I tell you, it's got to be something about the Central Division. Sox are putrid in divisional games but look like a much crisper team outside the division. I don't get it.

They are?

That said, hard to imagine a victory tonight with the anemic attack. Somebody's got to get hold of one (Becks again?) and the pure odds do not suggest that happening.

I assume you're describing the Red Sox because I haven't been watching them and this isn't true about the White Sox.

So who is left available in the Sox bullpen?

Does Noesi just get it from here until there's a save opportunity?

Petricka

Steal and then pray for a blooper

Petricka

He's pitched like the last 3 days though including 2 innings on Wednesday IIRC?

Is this the former infielder Josh Fields?

Can't hit homers, can't run from base to base. Killer combo we are.

Worst base running team in baseball.

Basically a pitch out, good try

Only out by half a mile

You were saying?

Fields was wild. Ramirez saw two pitches. Beckham swung at ball four. Walk thrown out stealing.

White sox....obp is very overrated.

The split with O's and good outing tonight. They look like a big league team IMO except for the inept hitting which admittedly is starting to anger me tonight.

Please god, no more steal attempts.

We would be better off with no coaching apparently.

f*** you Robin. Stealing with Flowers at bat with two outs is one of the dumbest decions I have ever seen. You just literally gave one of the worst hitters in baseball two at-bats if you're lucky. What a stupid f***ing move...ugh.

The defense the last two games has been atrocious. The hitting is just angering you now??

Ummm, no. Nor the former Sox pitcher, either.

Man on base, two out. We need one of those rare Flowers bombs.

I liked the call...you don't play for the next inning in that situation. A steal and a flare is easily your best chance of scoring in that situation. Typically, you think a speedy guy will be successful against a righty power reliever.

Have you watched any of the fielding tonight? We could have had a 3-0 win if this team wasn't a fielding circus.

And then there's the baserunning.

They've got Sale back to looking like Sale. That's the only thing that has changed.

2 of 3 runs unearned due to poor defense.

So you wanted Flowers to get an extra base hit?

Hey, my mlb feed must be way behind yours. Just now I watched the caught stealing with Flowers up.

You might want to stop watching when Marisnick bats
