Kerian is actually a 1b, but yeah he has nice speed and was once drafted as a SS (not terribly uncommon for a hser) so I don't think a position change is out of the question, even if he's a college senior and it's a little late. His bat should be able to play anywhere else but 1B. Sox definitely need a college catcher early. Nau would be a solid choice.
