Rodon worked his ass off to keep us in this game, he definitely deserved the win tonight.

3 ER in last 24 innings...not bad!

How could you not be impressed by Rodon

Let's get 4 more in a row

This is certainly the type of pitching runs we had in mind when we thought of this season.

Did anyone else think the Astros might have felt the slightest pang of regret facing Rodon?

I wonder if Springer will face discipline for his... display

Not sure what happened but from the 5-6th inning on our batters started actually taking pitches...

It was an out of body experience.

well i missed the game.... Rodon won!!!

i never really thought Rodon would have won... i was wrong.

Yesterday the sox saw 106 pitches... today they saw 151...

i like it, not as a fan from another team, but i see it this way.

hou on a 6 game loosing streak, Hou needed to show some life, so springer, even if he was wrong and knows it, took one for the team. just to kick start his team.

that is how i see it. Chi better be ready for tomorrow.

Nice win even though I got mad at the ninth inning fiasco. Rodon baby! Please Melky let this be your breakout game. Keep it up.

He is really lucky he didn't get thrown out after strike 2.

I think he would have been had it been the 6th or 7th inning.

Totally agree. The ump bent over backwards to keep him in the game, he deserved to be ran.

White Sox are hitting .167/.286/.250 with bases loaded none out this year. 1BB, 4Ks, 2GIDPs.

Some really bad approaches IMO but partially it's just that this team doesn't have very many good fastball hitters. Outside of Avi and LaRoche and Jose when he's locked in, most of our guys can't turn around fastballs and for the most part the Sox have been challenged, and failing, to hit good fastballs with the bases loaded.

It sucks to be sure but considering some of the guys that have contributed to that futility in a major way, hardly surprising. Flowers alone brings those numbers down....and then there's Alexei...and Bonifacio.
