If we don't win this one I don't know what we'll have to do to set up a win.

I have no idea what will have to happen before we win another game.

Ohay 10 below .500.

Melky's the kind of baseball player who could get a GM fired. He's so bad it's truly laughable.

Melky's played this year like he's 45 years old. Absolutely no bat speed. He has to cheat on every pitch to even try and pull the ball, which he can only do consistently on offspeed pitches.

Sale was cruising and had no high stress innings tonight. I really don't get pulling him with the way he was throwing.

100% agree. Not a fan of normally going that high on the pitch count, but he's also our stopper and would have very likely won us the game tonight if he kept Chris in. Any small sliver of hope of a turnaround ended tonight.

Melky needs to hit the juice. I don't f***ing care about ethics anymore.

Yeah, fire Robin, fire Steverson, fire Hahn and buy out JR. Let Kenny walk to Toronto, and put Buddy Bell on a boat to China. You might see some changes, or you might not.

Melky left 5 guys on late thanks ass clown.

In this case that would be a good thing.

Good news is we'll get a nice press conference from Robin telling us he's tired of talking about losing and all the players know this is bad. So it's all good.

He needs to start borrowing quotes from Lovie. " This sun will come up tomorrow" or my favorite "We'll go from there"

Firing Robin isn't going to cure this team's ills. But when they are ready to identify a good manager I'm all for Robin retiring, of course. I hate signs like that. Classless fan. I mean you think Robin Ventura is to blame for this mess? True he's not meant to be a manager, but it's the fault of these lousy players, not Robin. Again, I want Robin gone, but I also want many many players gone.

Red Sox up 6 runs in the 8th, Oakland up 4-1 with Gray on the mound but earlier.

If both win we will have the worst winning %age in the AL after tonight.

"Melky is my #2 hitter"

I feel your pain. I was trying to follow the game on MLB gameday. Sae with another Cy Young effort. Suich an amazing pitcher holding a one run lead into the 9th. You would think our bst relief pitcher would be at his best for the 9th. Once again we have no offense even though we get 9 hits. I really think in the bottom of the 9th that Robin sent in a pinch hitter for the wrong hitter.

Hey I was waiting for you! You wanna repeat that whole thing about Robertson being best closer in baseball? ;)

One thing that I've noticed...what we think is fair and what we've been getting from certain trades is not the same. We normally get much less than expected. Part of the reason why I'm extremely resistant to trading Sale.

This is exactly why Sale will be here for the remainder of his contract.

Buddy Bell will be the interim manager, you wait. And that will be a very very bad thing.

Hey, we don't want him here in China, either.

The game will never develop properly if he's in charge of it.

We're a thorn in the Astros side this year.

Terrible team. At this point, hopefully we'll be better off in the long run if this continues to get worse. The front office needs to be slapped in the face. Keep losing.

Robertson also has been sucking last month.

Amidst the carnage, beyond the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the one thing that truly, like, TRULY baffles me is how Buddy Bell still has a job.

And he should be. You don't trade Sale, your best pitcher, because the rest of the team stinks

So glad I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow and will be able to escape this garbage.
