Danks is either really bad (most of the time) or really good. He doesn't really have an in between.

I hate when players get booed. I just wish a.) he'd shave his beard. That would probably win him some fans. b.) Sox trade him to an NL team ASAP. For whatever they can get. Pay a couple million of his salary.

Because when combined with the rest of his starts, it still looks really bad.

 

But tonight, he battled. I still think he'd be best served as the long man in the pen, but tonight he turned in a good one.

June 17 vs. Pitt: 7 innings, 5 measly hits, three runs.

May 31 vs. Houston: nine innings, 0 runs.

May 16 vs. Oak: 7 innings, 3 hits, 2 runs.

May 10 vs Cincy: 7 inns, 6 hits one run.

 

Now coupled with tonight, 3 of his last 5 outings were DANDY.

Seriously, he's no Phil Humber; he's no Carroll. He's not batting practice, folks. He's still coming off that injury. Just cause he makes a TON of money don't hate on this player.
