The media's really getting good at throwing a lot of stuff at the wall and hoping some of it sticks (not unlike that recent NY Times Hillary e-mails story).

 

Maybe Fogle doesn't come across as being a particularly likable dude (perception), but not sure he deserves this insinuation without something more substantive in terms of proof.

 

There's probably enough to worry Subway and cause them to cut ties, but how many times has someone made a comment about a 16 year old or 17 even on SoxTalk...and ended up having a woman getting a secret microphone and copying all their messages to the FBI?

 

Would any of this be happening if he wasn't worth $15 million or whatever and someone is jealous/envious and trying to knock him off his pedestal?

He is being investigated for possible underage sex with a minor. I don't really understand why you are acting like the media is driving a lynch mob here. Nobody said anything about it until the FBI raided his house. Whatever would they do that Caulfield? That's the thing, though. Even if nothing ever comes of this, he's done. Nothing wipes away that kind rep.

I doubt nothing ever comes of this. I think there was a reason the world knew the FBI was at Jared's house, and I don't think it was his neighbors alerting the media. They, more than likely, have some real damning stuff against him. If he did talk to the women about his "fetish" even if he didn't act, it would be enough for him not to be a spokesman for my company. It could be just coincidence the guy running his charity was busted for what he was busted for, but that seems a bit improbable. I know this is the USA, innocent until proven guilty, but you can connect some dots, and realize something was more than likely happening that shouldn't happen. And realize not all criminals wind up in jail. I never recalled people mentioning how OJ's life was ruined 20 years ago being accused of something for which he was found not guilty.

Law enforcement tells us Fogle will plead guilty to possession of child pornography. Charges have not been filed but we're told that will happen at the same time the plea deal is announced.

 

The plea -- first reported by Fox59 in Indianapolis -- could come as early as Wednesday.

 

A judge will determine the sentence.

Reading the PDF, this guy is beyond a horrible human. They have 14 victims he will give $100k each, and he has agreed not to ask the judge for less than 5 years, while prosecutors have agreed to ask for no more than 12.5. He deserves more than 12.5.
