Back in the 0's when we played the Twins it seemed like they were in our heads before the series started. They had a cutesy nickname and our announcing team praised them constantly.

 

Seems like KC is in that boat now, with an equally annoying cutesy saying involving them. Hopefully they're not in the team's heads, Danks has been good against KC but I kinda wonder if they're not getting into that "well it's KC we're going to lose to them" mode where as soon as something goes wrong they'll melt down. Let's see if they can prove me wrong.

The Royals have lost 6 of their last 8. Hopefully that means we are catching them at the right time, especially with Royal Killer John Danks starting first.

I don't mean to anger everybody with my pessimism so instead I will ask you before game time to predict the outcome of this series and hold people to it. Sox ALWAYS (except last Cleveland series) are the cure for what ails struggling Central Division teams so my prediction: 3 losses and the signal of White Flag time (oops, too late for that).

But Sox lose all 3. Why? All 3 are sellouts; Royals are struggling and who better to get them well? It's gonna be ugly. It's gonna be frustrating. Greg says 0-3. Give your prediction now and see who is right.
