Does Taj ever give the ball up if he is near the paint?

No. It's terrible.

I'm over Taj. I think his time was the year they made the mistake of signing Boozer but now it's time to trade him and let Portis play.

Bulls dominated the 6ers

They're not going to win 72, obviously. That's a ridiculous expectation in the west. But the Warriors are every bit as good, if not better, than they were last year so far. They're a pleasure/joy to watch.

Are Bulls fans stoked about Hoiberg? What's the fan reaction after a few games?

He's a good offensive tactician. The problem is, he has a team that was essentially built by Thibs, the Rose/Butler problem is a reality, and health continues to be a problem.

There's a ton of talent on the Bulls, but they just aren't much of a team. Hoiberg does look like a pretty good coach so far.

I still think all of these statements, other then their is talent on the team, are incredibly premature. They could very well be true, but coming to any of the conclusions you made based upon the current sample size is just extremely premature.

Agreed. Especially since they have been winning with defense and their offense has been dreadful thus far. They could end up being really good on offense and I'm certainly not going to draw any conclusions based on 8 games but saying that Hoidberg is a good offensive mind when the Bulls have been one of the worst offensive teams in basketball thus far is pretty funny to me.

Also loved that "this is thibs roster"

Does anyone know where I can buy a Bulls replica of a jersey they wore vs OKC Thunder. It has cursive Chicago on the chest.

Haven't seen this mentioned, but the Bulls are starting their own D-League team to play in the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates.

Kris Porzingis is legit.

This draft class is decent.

The Warriors just dropped 75 points on the Wolves in the first half. I don't even know what to say anymore. These guys are going to completely change the way franchises operate (scout, draft, scheme, etc) for the next decade.

Just wish LA didn't take Russell. They are ruining him. He needs to be on a team where he has the ball. Not a team full of ballhogs

"Guys, we are going to completely change the way we operate in order to catch up to the Warriors. Rather than draft others, we are going to draft Steph Curry. I'll let you sit and digest that."

They will all fail miserably. That's like saying every team is going to start molding their franchies after the 90's Bulls or 00's Lakers. I'm pretty sure they all try to find superstar talent. That's the missing ingredient there. The Warriors have Curry. No one else does. Without Curry the Warriors are just a good shooting team. He makes them historically elite.

I'll steal a play out of your playbook and make a definitive statement (that I 100% believe): he's the greatest shooter in the history of the NBA. I think we can anoint him that title now. He's on pace to break his own record for 3 pointers made. He's got more made himself than like 5 teams in the league through 10 games. He hits circus shots from every spot on the floor. The dude, to me, is more exciting to watch than anyone since Jordan. And that would include AI, Vince, Kobe, Lebron, etc. My mouth drops with some of the stuff he does on the court.

Yes Curry and the Warriors are must-watch.

That said I missed last nights game. Was not suprised to see 75 dropped on twolves in a half. Was surprised Garnett didn't bite someone during that.

To me Steph is the most exciting athlete in all of sports to watch right now and it's not even close.

Hasn't been discussed here yet but the Warriors aren't winning 72, just wanted to throw that out there since it's becoming a topic of conversation already in other spots.

the NBA season doesn't make sense until Christmas day and onward. No idea why people always try to extrapolate in november. Last year the Kings were the hot upstarts!

It's too simplistic to say they just have Curry and nobody else does. The Warriors are changing the game. The way they completely keep the floor spread offensively at all times is amazing. Then on defense they can get away with an overall lack of size because of their length/athleticism/versatility. Just watch 'em on d. They can switch on anything or anybody and not lose a thing. Draymond Green is a big part of that. Just read what scouts and GMs are looking for these days. They're not looking for the next LeBron James. They want the next Draymond Green.

This is literally the same stuff you were spouting about the heat 2 years ago (players without positions!!!). So if anything, this is what the heat/OKC started, the warriors just have the talent to finish it. Daryl morey also a big reason for this.

The Heat had the talent to finish it twice...

Yeah, technically the "players without positions" thing came out his last year which the heat did not finish it.

You're lying on okc. The Heat did what they did because LeBron could play the four (allowing the heat to keep an extra shooter on the floor at all times) and he passes better than all but about 4 point guards. The Warriors are different. Their entire roster fits where the game is at today. There's a reason Gasol/Noah are worthless playing together. One traditional big is fine. Two? No good.

I'm fairly certain, a player like Shaq could be an absolute monster against a team like the Warriors. Problem is, Shaq is one of a kind.
