I would vote against him, but there's only democrats challenging him. Then I would have to vote Hillary on the democratic side which would help Rump. So I guess I have to make a choice at the state level as opposed to the presidential race.

Fair. Maybe it was weak for Chicago. But violence still isn't something to accept or make light of. It was a scary situation.

Trump makes light of violence at every event he speaks at

Yeah I get it. Also, hell of an autocorrect there.

He actually encourages it. Says in the good old days protesters would be beaten and they should be today.

I don't disagree with you guys, he got what he asked for. But I still think it's incredibly sad that a moron like Trump camp be defeated with reason and logic and we have to resort to violence. I know it was pretty minimal violence, but still.

I believe the only thing I can add to this discussion is this:

Thats great. What a monster

If Chicago could get over its Napoleon complex, people would come to realize that ketchup is good on a hot dog.

It doesn't have to be violent but his supporters are told to react with force so that's what it turns into. If your "leader" tells you to be violent do you really think someone who is getting punched is just going to stand there? He's completely at fault.

The violent trump supporters last night. Starting fights inside, smashing cops with bricks, blocking ambulances, shooting guns in the air.

Lol. I especially like the freeze frame of the guy throwing the punch. The video is out there of him getting mauled for 5 min, why didn't you post that?

It's people who put ketchup as the extra ingredient on the traditional chicago style hot dog that are the monsters. You don't mess with a perfect recipe.

Gene and Jude's is my favorite dog and it's not even full Chicago style. It's perfect.

You seem to be happy that violence and threats to security disrupted our political process.

I'm happy protesters took a stand against fascism and a candidate openly encouraging violence against them. That trump and his supporters ended up being such cowards is on them.

Protest is as much a part of the political process as a rally.

Eta besides it's trump supporters that have turned his rallies violent for a few months now, and with trumps encouragement.

So Much meth powered hate.

Yep. These guys do realize they would be obliterated in seconds? I guess not... The funniest part was the guy acting like they are some righteous cause with the "Brother, brother it's not worth it."

Yup, nothing better on a hot dog than ketchup and grilled onions.

The First Amendment is not the one I'd hoped would be challenged this election season. Last night was an embarrassment and against everything this country stands for - or at least I thought.

f*** anyone who supports Bernie Sanders right now.

And oh yeah before I forget: please note the irony of "I never thought the first amendment would be challenged" and "we need to ban all Muslims from entering the country until we figure out what the Hell is going on".
