Eagles acquire WR Dorial Green-Beckham from the Titans for OL Dennis Kelly

Seems like a bad idea to trade a young WR with a ton of upside for a back up O-lineman.

Going to guess that DGB still hasn't cleaned up his act.

Bears, its preseason so not a big deal but for the love of God don't look terrible again tonight.

I think this week of practicing against one of the best teams on the planet for the last 15 years will be extremely beneficial for the team in the long-run. Great to get to see the Pats way. Sounds like Alshon & White were two of the best players on either side of the practices and the talk of Floyd has been pretty glowing as well (about the athleticism that he's flashed).

Agreed. At least a run longer than 3 yards please.

Most importantly...good health.

So much for that. Kyle Fuller shut down for preseason due to an unspecified knee injury.

They were hinting at surgery this morning.

I dont think he is in the Bears future at this point. He isnt one of their guys and he hasnt showed much of anything. This regime doesnt play around too much when you have those to descriptions next to your name.

Such a bummer, there seemed to be so much potential after that first season. It may have all just been thanks to Peanut on the other side.

The first half of his first season he showed some promise but he fell off. And has been pretty mediocre to just flat out bad since that time. The awfulness of Emery continues to step on nut sacks.

I think he got to be starter level in the second half of last year. But defense just had a lot fo guys "doing their jobs" but nobody disrupting. When one level gets to "exceling" then we'll finally get some turnovers.

Actually, the second half of last year he made a lot of progress. Hopefully whatever it is, he can get cleaned up and get right early in the season. While he isn't a star, we have little depth in the secondary and he has the potential to be a solid CB (and was for a good chunk of the 2nd half of the season...which is a nice sign considering the first half he was still adjusting to the new defense, etc.). The injury hurts in the sense that he won't get a camp to build upon his second half success and improved knowledge of the D. Hopefully whatever it is, it is relatively minor.

Hopefully Floyd can be one of those disruptors.

This is much more fun

Meh. Soft middle, no rush, bad vs run. Pretty familiar.

So Bears cannot afford a single injury. Their second string oline is terrible.

Not a fan of Hoyer so far

Understatement

Not a better final drive QB than Connor shaw. Love him

Their front 7 is much improved. No Trevathan either. Secondary is weakest spot on team but they couldn't fix everything.

Yup. Pace hinted it was going to be a 2-3 year thing. If anyone thought they would fix every weakness after one year, then they're out to lunch.

I really liked what I saw from the first team offense. Jeffery and White look like a really tough cover
