Sox Cactus League opener tomorrow

Featured Replies

White Sox exhibition games begin tomorrow, Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 from Camelback Ranch. As usual for the opener, the Sox opponent is the L.A. Dodgers. According to the WLS website, the broadcast begins at 1:57 PM Central, and the first pitch happens at 2:05 PM Central.

And if you can't hear the game live, MLB Network will re-air the game on television on Thursday night at 9:00 PM Central (but with Dodgers announcers). I heard that longtime Dodger announcer Vin Scully is going to call 1 Cactus League game but tomorrow is not the one:

A complete lists of Sox Spring Training television and radio broadcasts is listed here (excluding 14 MLB Network airings):

f*** yeah to White Sox Baseball! About time! :gosox1:

Kershaw struggles in big games so we should be able to rough him up.

Very interesting lineup. Didn't think Lawrie could possibly bat 2nd.

The way the team is currently constructed, I'd prefer Lawrie hit 2nd vs LHP with his lifetime 128wRC+ vs lefties.

It'll be interesting to see if us folks in dodger country will get blacked out of the webcast. Their TV deal is retarded.

LOL at the guy in the tweet.. Bonoficio lol

I know won't even be able to watch the MLB. Network late broadcast hours after the game is over.

Shocking - it looks like there aren't going to be blackouts for spring training games... the mlb.tv stream is showing a commercial break for me. Fingers crossed.

Boom. First pitch on the stream, no blackout. Rejoice LA based Sox fans without Timewarner.

Eaton lines out softly to left. Nicely took a curveball from Kershaw just out of the zone on 0-2.

Feels great to be watching baseball! Ahh!

Eaton fly out to LF, Lawrie BB

Abreu battles but eventually whiffs on a fastball, Frazier takes the first pitch to the warning track in left. Sox done in the first.

Kind of weird seeing someone else wear #21 but refreshing

Danks already in midseason form

Danks already in midseason form

If he tanks in ST and Johnson/Latos look good, it could create a tough call for the Sox
