I missed most of raw last night cause I had a basketball game but I caught that main event angle...and I hated it. Thing is, I get that most people are loving this so I understand why they're doing it but it's not for me. 3 guys who are pretty awful performers at this point in a stare down because of nostalgia just isn't for me.

Even though I love Brock, it's a waste that he is in this with Goldberg still. Brock isn't old and even as a PTer, should be feuding with regular guys.

Quick Smackdown thoughts: Styles and Cena are awesome. Mickie, Alexa and Becky are awesome. As amazing as Talking Smack is with DB it's just as bad with Shane. And it really seems like they're planting the seeds for Styles-Shane and that still pisses me off more than anything.

I'm refusing to believe they will waste Styles at Mania on Shane, so it's probably happening. Ugh

A match with Shane at WM does absolutely nothing for Styles. After getting Super Cena'd then having to face Shane is a good way to slow the momentum for your hottest star.

 

I think we have a better chance of seeing DB vs Miz than Shane vs Styles.

I'm refusing to believe they will waste Styles at Mania on Shane, so it's probably happening. Ugh

According to Meltzer and Alvarez, not currently the plan, but the plan is for Shane to wrestle at WM.

Hope everyone is right but they definitely at least started to plant the seeds for it on Talking Smack. Doesn't mean it's going to happen but it's there. On another note, Omega is starting to play into the WWE rumors now. Doesn't mean anything as he's a master promoter but it's at least interesting how he's done a 180 in the last few weeks.

Some deep thoughts:

- to me, Alexa Bliss is the female Ambrose. Can't wrestle in the ring at all

- can't wait for Rumble, as excited as I've ever been for a ppv

- my outside the box winner is Styles

- really hope Lesnar and Goldberg don't win

I actually liked it for the nostalgia factor...it was a good staredown, and the fans were into it...so, I have no problems with it. Using older performers properly, in programs with each other doesn't hurt the new guys coming up whatsoever, and can be used to attract an audience that otherwise wouldn't give these new guys the time of day. It can open their eyes to amazing performers like AJ Styles, etc.

Some deep thoughts:

Ya, like I said, I get why they're doing it and I know other people like it but it's not for me. They're all pretty awful at this point of their careers(well Goldberg always sucked) and I personally have no interest in any of them.

 

EDIT: And I'm not complaining about it honestly. They can have their Brock/Goldberg match, I'm just worried about where the rest of this mania card is going.

1. Alexa is an American treasure.

2. I hate that Brock is being lumped in with Taker and Goldberg, 2 old guys who can barely move and seem uncoordinated.

3. All this is a red herring for someone like Zayn or Miz to win the Rumble. It can't be a PTer. Would be a waste.
