I think your standards have been thrown out of whack (understandable) by watching White Sox baseball. Shuck really shouldn't be in the majors, even for a team that is intentionally trying to lose.

With Latos approaching 70 pitches, it might be a good idea to get someone loose. Latos didnt work deep all spring.

Semien is a second baseman not a ss.

The error probably added 10 pitches to this inning. It also seemed like once Latos got into the stretch the ball started coming up, and he was deeper into counts.
