The 4th pitch of this ab on gamecast was like 27 feet outside.

The inside corner is not far enough inside on the TV version.

Oh come on Matt

Had him but awful throw

Good throw gets him

Oh Matt, no

I'd be getting Robertson up in situations like these

In the 7th?

Still love ya Albers

Ok he got out of it. Lucky there but I'll take it

For a 7 out save?

Whew. Albers survives with the two run lead intact.

hey hey hey

Good chance there's not a higher leverage out for the rest of the game

Anyway, worked out

Duke is so getting first two batters next inning

It's so weird to play the Twins and have these situations occur, but then they DON'T score any runs. For so many years, there would've been a bloop double down the line here and it'd be tied. I guess that honor has passed to the Royals.

A good throw they pick him off. Was a good call just didn't execute. Now lets get a couple more insurance runs.

Seems like Detroit scores 7 runs every night

So who pitches to Rosario and Mauer in the 8th: Duke, Jennings or Jones?

Albers has gone something like 80 innings without giving up a run. There's no one else I would have rather had in there to get that big out.

Yeah but you know that'll never happen, so w/e.

I'm with you, I hate designated inning roles for relievers. Use your best relievers at the most critical moments.
