Lawrie has been by the best on the team at working counts this year.

I think he's changed his approach at the plate from last year. It's been nice to have a consistent hitter in the lineup.

Sands is getting to a lot of 3 ball counts but is really pushing. Needs to start taking one or two with 3 balls with how slow his swing is.

He did hit 30 homers that year.

And going into September I am pretty sure he was hitting over .300 with 28 homers and about 90 RBI.

He's way stronger than Crede. 2006 Crede was pretty much prime Joe Crede. Prime Todd Frazier is gonna hit 35 bombs. That's like hitting 40-45 back in 2006.

 

Crede's the better defender though.

I don't know about "stronger" necessarily. I just think a realistic upside for us as fans is 2006 Crede.
